Neogrey (as the name implies) is one of the first typefaces I designed back in 2004. It was inspired by my love for rounded square sans fonts often associated with sci-fi books and movies. I did not know much about typeface construction back then and there are a few things which could have been handled better. I’m surprised that so many hi-tech startups are picking it for their logos – obviously it speaks to the tech people out there.
It could be very useful for creating logos, headlines and festival posters. It’s really not intended for long texts as it doesn’t have great readability. It features two weights – Regular and Medium.
