Mecademic is a Canadian robotics manufacturer that builds the world’s smallest, most precise, and easy-to-use industrial robotic arms. Their robots excel in the precise and repetitive manipulation of small parts and tools in a variety of industries.


The logo actually revolved heavily around my typeface Syntha and the client requested a customized version of Syntha with few modified glyphs. Atipo Bariol was chosen for a main body text typeface.

Symbols as Letters

I’m extremely happy that my little project has been picked among hundreds of others to be displayed in a book by Christophe De Pelsemaker with the help of one of the most notable designers of our time, Paul Ibou. My symbol is in a company of the logos of the best logo designers out there, including names like Paul Rand and many other legends.
