The task
I’ve worked with the friendly folks at Manual Music in the past and I was truly delighted when they reached out to me asking me to design this. This limited edition vinyl, only 50 copies available, is crafted with love and care. A tribute to everything Manual Music has stood for over the past 20 years. It features six cherished tracks from the catalogue that have never before been pressed to vinyl. These songs represent key moments in the label’s rich history and this marks the first time they make the leap from digital to physical. Giving them a home on vinyl for the first time feels like giving them the physical presence they always deserved.
The process
As per my usual way of doing things, I did many initial drafts – some of them eventually led to a more refined, simplified version.
Alternative Logo
The final design turned up being quite spartan and I decided to design an alternative logo for the sleeve’s flip side.
