Lausanne is something I worked on for about half a year. Her character borrows from classic Didot examples with a hint of Copperplate and my idea here was ignited by the high contrast logotypes of famous luxury brands like Prada or Louis Vuitton.

I followed the established rules while allowing myself some quirkiness that (I hope) adds a bit of a playful voice of the typeface.
