Volcano type DEADMan
he organic and extraordinary hand-made style of ”Deadman” recalls very strongly the work of british Illustrator Ralph Steadman, who was friend for many years to the american author and journalist hunter S. Thompson. Steadman´s drawings, illustrated a lot of his work, and amongst other things , the world famous ” Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas”. All „Deadman“ letters where drawn with a foutain pen. the best Characters from hundred of versions where chosen and later digitalised on a computer. The result is a very rich and varied letter-family, that is even more effective with the two additional fonts ”Blotting” and ”Squirting”.
